Bobbie and Carl Admire
We would like to introduce ourselves. Our names are Bobbie and Carl Admire and we are the parents of two girls and grandparents of eight.
I, Bobbie, have loved pets as far back as I can remember. As a kid, I have had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, mice and hamsters. In school we had snakes and I got to help care for them. When I got older I got to have fish tanks, lizards and what my mother referred to as “not girl pets.”
I have been working with Daystar Pets since the middle of November, 2006. I really enjoy my job. I have met many interesting people and some wonderful animals .
My husband, Carl, is a part-time pet sitter for Daystar Pets. He has gone with me on several pet sits and covered for me when I was unable to work. He loves the animals as much, if not more (if that’s possible), than I do. Carl grew up in Texas where he worked on Dude Ranches and at summer camps where he worked with horses. He worked with his grandfather and uncles on their dairy farms. He grew up with dogs and cats, also. This job gives him the opportunity to give his love to the pets we sit for. He is a spoiler when it comes to the kids, grandkids and the animals we come in contact with.
Our territory is all of Cheapeake and parts of Virginia Beach that are near the Chesapeake line off Military Highway. We look forward to many more years of working for Cherie at Daystar Pets and if you live in or near Cheapeake, we look forward to the opportunity of taking care of your animal.

To Whom It May Concern,
Bobbie Admire became my pet sitter in an emergency situation. My previous pet sitter was unreachable for two weeks prior to a scheduled sitting. This situation left me in a bind as my husband and I were leaving to go out of town in two days. I called Daystar Pet Sitting and Cherie told me she would have Bobbie call me later that same day
Bobbie called and we arranged for her to come and meet my dogs (an elderly Great Dane and a neurotic Shiba Inu) later that day. My Great Dane loves everyone but my Shiba is afraid of his own shadow. Within a few minutes of arriving at my home the Shiba was sneaking up and sniffing at Bobbie. Her calm manner and soft spokenness won him over in next to no time. I felt a great sense of relief that my "babies" were going to be well taken care of.
Upon returning from our trip I found the dogs in excellent spirits, there was none of the usual depression that my Great Dane had experienced when left previously. Bobbie left me a detailed diary of her visits with the dogs including observations on their behavior and eating habits. The animals, house and yard were in perfect condition
I feel truly blessed to have found this wonderful woman to care for my animals when I need to be away from home.
Sincerely,
Melanie Freitas
